    Bio:

    I’ve just started working in the Attention and Working Memory Lab after a year in the ReCALL lab and I am very excited. I am interested in attention and efficiency of the human mind during perceptual processes. In addition to my psychology degree, I am also pursuing a chemistry minor. I plan on attending medical school after I graduate.

Shresttha Dubey

    After my first year in college, I figured the best way to further my career was to get involved in research. I was very pleased to be given the opportunity to work in the Attention and Working Memory Lab. I am primarily interested in the limitations of memory and intelligence. I intend on heading to medical school after graduating.

Lauren Becknell

    Bio:

    I am working in the Attention and Working Memory Lab as a freshman, and I am very passionate about the field of psychology. I am a psychology major and have special interests in individual cognitive functions, like intelligence and memory, and abnormal psychology. After I graduate from Georgia Tech, I plan on attending graduate school.

    I am excited for the opportunity to work in the Attention and Working Memory Lab as it gives me real-world experience working alongside a variety of unique people. As a psychology major, I have interests in cognition and child development. After graduating, I plan to attend graduate school and become a counselor or teach psychology.

    I am volunteering at the Attention and Working Memory Lab as a freshman to explore the different opportunities open to me and to gain experience. I am curious about the various aspects of psychology, but I have an interest in cognitive functions and abnormal psychology. I have a love for psychology and plan on attending graduate school after graduation.

Annie Dang

    I am very excited to be a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab. In addition to a BME degree, I am pursuing a certificate in social/personality psychology. I am very interested in exploring the individualistic differences in memory and intelligence. I plan on attending medical school after graduation.

Cody Mashburn, B. A.

    Bio:

    I recently received my Bachelor of Science from Young Harris College, where I studied Psychology and Philosophy. There, I discovered my love for research design and cognitive psychology studying working memory, auditory imagery, and musical expertise with Dr. Amy Boggan. I have also done work on attention and cognitive aging at Western Kentucky University with Dr. Sharon Mutter. I came to the Attention and Working memory Lab to learn more about individual differences research, quantitative methods, and executive functioning. I plan to apply to Ph.D. programs in Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience this Fall.
