    Kate Cole

    Major: Psychology

    Class Standing: Sophomore

    I am so excited to be a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab because I want to pursue a career in research and hopefully become a psychology professor. My primary interest is cognitive psychology, but I also love both social and abnormal psychology and would, one day, like to do my own research in these fields.

    I love traveling, reading, and learning about everything I can.

    I am excited to have the opportunity to work at the Attention and working memory lab because I would like to go onto medical school when I graduate. My interests include understanding how to use different medical technologies and reading scans.

    Additionally, I enjoy running, playing basketball and traveling!

    I enjoy being a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab as it allows me to learn about psychology in a more hands-on manner. After graduation, I’m interested in pursuing a career in pediatric medicine by attending medical school.

    In addition to my interest in medicine, I enjoy hiking, baking, and traveling.

    I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab as it aligns with my passion for neuroscience and my aspirations for a career in the healthcare field. Working at this lab has also offered me valuable exposure to what it looks like to conduct research in a unique area of interest.

    I also love to travel, play the violin, and participate in mindfulness activities.

    I love being a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab, because I get to research my interests of attention control and working memory and its practical applications. Post-graduation, I plan to attend medical school.

    Outside the lab, you'll find me on the golf course, at the pool table, or playing football/soccer/basketball. I'm a sports enthusiast, always up for discussing the latest games. Video games like FIFA and just hanging out with friends are my perfect unwind.

    Madeleine Miller

    I have loved being a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab, which has not only deepened my understanding of neuroscience but has provided me with valuable real-life experience in research. This experience has further fueled my passion for pursuing a career in healthcare with specific interests in neurology or anesthesiology.

    Beyond academics, I enjoy running, playing intramural flag football and volleyball, and making bracelets.

    I enjoy working in the Attention and Working Memory Lab because it is good research experience into the cognitive psychology field. I am aiming to pursing a career in clinical and counseling psychology, and have particular interest in social, abnormal, and engineering psychology.

    My hobbies include reading books, watching movies, and going to concerts.

    I am a second-year neuroscience major interested in gaining experience in cognitive psychology and plan to pursue a career in medicine, more specifically psychiatry.

    In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing pickleball, travelling, and hanging out with friends.

    Major: Psychology and Neuroscience

    Class Standing: Senior

    I'm so excited to be a part of the Attention and Working Memory lab! As a double major, this area of research is incredibly interesting to me as it's an intersection of both neuroscience and psychology. I plan to attend medical school after my gap year and hopefully become an emergency pediatric physician.

    My interests include photography and film. I'm also trying to be more of an outdoorsy person, frequently planning hikes and nature walks.

    Jena Patel

    I am excited to be a part of the Attention & Working Memory Lab due to its foundation in cognitive psychology. I also have interest in the social and abnormal psychology fields as well. I am planning on pursuing Physician Assistant school after graduating, with the hopes of working in Psychiatry one day.

    In my free time, I love playing soccer or basketball or watching movies.

    Abigail Granberry

    Minor: Spanish and Science of Mental Health & Well-Being

    I joined this lab due to my interest in the study of memory, but I am also interested in abnormal and developmental psychology. After graduation I would like to continue my education, focusing on Clinical Psychology with the end goal of working in therapy.

    My interests include going to the movies, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family!

    I'm excited to have the chance to be a part of the Attention and Working Memory Lab and gain hands-in experience in psychology research. I'm interested in behavioral neuroscience and language.

    I am a member of Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Roller Derby team, and I love reading, hiking, and playing card games
